Disney World 2015

A few months ago we were debating what to do for Thanksgiving this year, and because we are crazy we decided it would be a fun time to go back to Disney World. As always, it was such a fun trip. Elliot was a touch on the young side the last time we went, and this trip was so much more fun for him., He was a trooper and powered through every day with no rest time. He fell asleep in a few fun places (he slept through the entire Electric Parade and Fireworks one night, another night he fell asleep while sitting upright on the monorail). We stayed at the Ft Wilderness cabins again which the kids really liked, and went back to the Animal Kingdom park for the first time in a few years.

We discovered that, unlike his fearless older brother, Elliot does NOT like roller coasters. Our very first ride of the trip was Splash Mountain and poor Eliot did NOT enjoy that last drop! He loved the Haunted Mansion though, so he isn't scared of ghosts! Henry as usual was obsessed with the big coasters. Both kids discovered Tom Sawyer's Island on this trip and spent over two hours on it exploring the caves and the fort.

Our first day we were off to the Magic Kingdom:

We bought the photo pass that included all ride photos, so we have mementoes of Eliot's distress on all large rides:

Day 2 we went to Animal Kingdom. It was COLD that day! The kids really liked the safari ride and we got to see a lot of animals. Henry was finally tall enough for Expedition Everest and thought it was the best roller coaster he had ever been on. Both kids had a lot of fun at the dinosaur playground. We had lunch at Tusker House so got to meet Mickey and his gang. The crowds were not fun this day, though.

Day 3 was Hollywood Studios. The kids were REALLY excited for the Toy Story area and the Indiana Jones stunt show. We saw the Osborne Family Spectacle of lights, and wewre at the park for about 8 hours, yet I apparently only took about 5 pictures :

Day 4 was back to the Magic Kingdom:

The hot new ride is the Seven Dwarfs coaster. We figured we would try one last coaster with Elliot (he claimed he wanted to try!). You can see the distress on his face - no more coasters for E!
(Henry loved it, though!)

And then it was back to Boston on Thanksgiving day....
