Legos!

They opened a Legoland Discovery Center by us a few months ago, and it has been a highly anticipated trip since. As we know, Henry has quite the passion for Legos (in fact, before his birthday this year when I was pressing him to give gift suggestions OTHER than Legos to friends/family, he stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and dramatically proclaimed "But Mom, LEGOS ARE MY LIFE!" This weekend we finally had a chance to visit the Discovery Center for his friend Ryan's birthday party.

The excitement was underway even in the waiting area:

The kids started out in the party room where they all made some Lego dragons before cake and pizza:

Then they moved on to watch a short movie on how Legos are made, and practice making their own minifigures:

Then the kids were let loose into the insanity. There were a few small rides, a bunch of Lego building stations (where you could build and race your own car, build a skyscraper and test its strength on a vibrating board, etc), and of course Lego Boston:

Our wedding location built in Legos:

It was incredibly fun for Henry, so I'm sure we will be back soon!
