The little guy had his 6 week appointment with the pediatrician today. All looks good thus far - he was happy as a clam once again while being weighed, measured, having his ears checked, etc. Alas, the happiness came to an end when poor little man had his first round of vaccines. He was a trooper though, and calmed down fairly quickly after they were done.
As for the stats, he is currently weighing in at 11 pounds, 5 ounces (around the 70th percentile) and measuring 22 inches (around the 30th percentile). Yes, you read that right - the 30th percentile (and almost exactly the opposite of Henry now, who is 30th percentile for weight and 70th for height). For some reason, Mr. Elliot has decided to defy genetics and be the short one in the family. I think Henry was around the 75th percentile at this point. Now, his pediatrician, at seeing my shock at his shorter stature, told me that percentiles don't mean much at this point. But, we are still busy thinking of charming nicknames for our little Shorty McShorterson.
