Sunny weekend

We had a great weekend with beautiful weather, and a visit from Nana and Papa!

We took a nice walk down by the harbor:

4 month appointment

Elliot had his 4 month pediatrician appointment today. He is doing pretty well! The stats are:

14.6 pounds (50th percentile)
24.5 inches (44th percentile)
42.9 cm head circumference (I have no idea what this means, they just tell me the number each time)

So, he is still our little shorty!

Everything else is going well from what we can see. He had a load of shots but only cried for about 30 seconds - what a trooper!

Museum of Science

It was WAY too hot and humid to do any outdoor activities today, so we met up with some friends and headed to the Museum of Science! We don't get to this museum as often as others, but we really should make an effort to go more often. Henry LOVES it.

And did numerous other things that I couldn't get pictures of because he was running around like a mad man.

Plum Island 2012

We are back from our (now annual) week trip to Plum Island! We basically recreated last year - same house, another visit from G Pa, same fabulous weather.... There was obviously one big difference:

Elliot was a sport, hanging out in the beach tent while Henry went crazy in the waves and digging elaborate canal systems. We went to the beach almost every day, including a fabulous trip to Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester. There was a lot of grilling, hanging out on the deck, sand castles, lemonade making, and Henry got to go on his first fishing trip! (alas, no fish were caught). Basically, a perfect summer vacation.

4th of July (we attempted to wake Henry up for the fireworks, but he was so exhausted we literally couldn't wake him up - and it was only 8:30!)

It was a wonderful time - and hard to be back to reality today!
