This is the year I lost all control over decision making for costumes...so no cute, matching or themed costumes this year. Instead Elliot chose to be a T Rex (a costume that unfortunately he had some difficulty seeing out of!) and Henry embraced his love of all things military and was a Navy Seal (and was NOT happy that I did not allow weaponry to be brought with us while trick or treating. Sorry, kid).
WE had a lot of fun decorating the house again. We aren't on a big trick or treating street, but since we are across the street from the school we get a LOT pf weekday foot traffic and have a reputation to uphold.
We had a big group over for light saber battles and pizza before heading out trick or treating:
Elliot got a wee bit freaked out by some dramatic decorations at one house (an impaled zombie figure on the front lawn - it freaked ME out so I don't blame him!) and Henry was worn out from the pre party, so we headed home after about an hour to hand out candy at our house, This picture of Henry cracks me up:
Happy Halloween!
